Experience the only public roped climbing space in Taranaki, where fun, movement, and adventure come together.
Rock climbing is a brilliant way to progressively stay and get fit, build strength, flexibility, and balance, all while having an epic time with friends! At The Crux, we cater to all skill levels—whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced climber.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers, routes are updated regularly—roped climbs are refreshed annually and bouldering challenges twice a year, so there’s always something new to try.
